Books delivered at 4 schools in Laos

Great news reached us this week about the most recent book box fund charity at Lao Voices. We have received confirmation from Laos that all 4 book boxes have been successfully delivered at the schools. It became a day of festivities at each school where teachers and pupils gathered around the gifts of knowledge to witness the reception of the books.

The following four elementary schools received a book box from Laoplanet.net (thanks to our donators who managed to collect and contribute $805 to the fund):

- Phonsikay Elementary, Pakse, Champassak;
- Dannavieng Elementary, Phone Thong, Champassak;
- Nongdong Elementary, Phone Thong, Champassak;
- Akat Elementary, Sikhotabong, Vientiane.

Mrs. Kongdeuane Nettavong, Director of the National Library of Laos since 1989, has assured deliverance of the books at every respective school. We are delighted that all educational material found its way to Lao kids and considered it very important to inform you, our readers and donators, about the progress of the delivery.
