Confused By My Own Thoughts, If Women Were To Rule
After making a post on ‘Chongquing, China…Women Rule!’, I keep thinking to myself that those men must have lost their marbles, think about it, letting the women ruled, in China of all places, such a ridiculous idea wouldn’t you agree. If the legend about the wife has had control over their household is true, maybe these men are so use to having the women to boss them around, they might actually like that, why just keep it in the family, right?
Just the thought of, if women were to rule at Chongquing gives me goose bumps; I have flashbacks of the time growing up with my Chinese female friends; the expression that the Laotian gave them was so accurate, ‘Jek Tern Fai’ (Chinese chaotic during a fire), many times I couldn’t think very clearly amongst their loud voices, just like right now, I can’t think very clearly; it seems that I keep hearing my voice echoing; I’m not sure if it’s just in my head or other people can hear it too.
Anyway, Chongquing is known as the commercial, industrial and transportation hub of Southwest China. Their industrial center is growing at very fast rates, they have outstanding universities and technical schools, and to add on to this, the historic city is rapidly becoming a significant tourist destination, especially when they’re ready to introduce Chongquing, hoping in 2 years, as the women town, I can’t imagine what it’d be like then.
If women were to rule…not a bad idea, YES the car dealers would be more colorful, one can spots them miles away, wouldn’t be hard for Darly and I to spot our next car, we just have to head to the Blue Cars Dealership.
I drive a small SUV, no biggie, I don’t have problem with finding a parking space, but I’ve noticed that lately it’s getting smaller and smaller, must be those men engineer that drive a midlife crisis sports car such as a Miata or something like that. Now, if the women were to rule, the parking space would be much bigger because they like to drive BIG SUV, they’ll just have to leave a small space, call it handicap parking space if you will, for the men with a small sporty car. I know a Lao guy that drives a Miata, he certainly wouldn’t mind if women were to rule because he once mentioned that he wants to be a stay home dad.
I have to say, the world is turning upside down, I’m just a bit confused with my own thoughts and the echoing is not helping either.

I spent 1 and a half hours watching the House of Flying Daggers and
notice that it was about the betrayal of a all female dominated society that
was about to be exterminated by the men.
Poor writing, good soundtrack, good camera, and good effects. Because of
the poor writing and plot I won't watch it again. Sex scenes comes at the
wrong time and pretty unusual for a Chinese film. Most Chinese movies comes
with a moral point to the story, this one isn't one of them.
But a female dominated society with superhuman skill is fascinating to me.
If women were to rule, there will lots of green like what you seen in this
movie. You can view the trailer here:

Yes, the script was poorly written. The best part about that movie is special effects. All the sex scenes are targeted at certain audiences. It's all about making the big $ in the end.
Okay, now I'm confused! What post are you two replying to?
I'm lost too. After I de-marked "spam" I had to look at the recent comments on the left column to find the post, lol.
I think it was the post by Padek and your post on "If Women Were to Rule".
I must've of confuse you with the movie "House of Flying Daggers" which is a response to "If Women Were to Rule" and "confuse by my own thoughts."
The movie is a about a female dominited society which is pretty cool as protrayed in the movie. Men are much more violent and prefer concrete and machines over the green and natural environments. Eventually, as the story goes, that society will be erased from history. This new city ‘Chongquing, China is bringing that idea alive and the city might not turn out to be a ‘Jek Tern Fai’ city after all.

If women were to rule, there will [be] lots of green [forests] like what you seen in this
movie.
….must be those men engineer that drive a midlife crisis sports car such as a Miata or something like that…
Hmmm..I wonder what Laoplanet user drives such a car? I hope this was not targeted at him?
Hehehe, seemed like everything I wrote have a direct intention or targeted at someone, not this time…just mentioning for the fun of it, I know Sam_Vong wouldn’t be offended.
