Weir, Off Screen Date With Sandra At Pattaya
After reading comments made on the last episode of Pleng Ruk Rim Fang Khong, at Saolao.net, I was inspired to translate this article, which I read back in May 2007 when it was first published in Thairath. I guess what made me think of this article was mainly what Karmadiva said that “…Sandra and Pen are good actors because they sure have good chemistry! They should date in real life!“, and here it is, the article about their date (off screen) at the beach.
The couple became very close from the Lakorn Pleng Ruk Rim Fang Khong, shortly after completed the filming of the Lakorn, the couple, Weir Sukollawat, and Alexandra Bounxouei relationship grew even stronger, and after Weir found out that Sandra wanted to see the ocean, he volunteered to take her, and became her tour guide to Pattaya, such a sweet couple (off screen); after seeing the couple together; the ocean didn’t seem as salty, more like sweet. On the way there, the couple stopped at the Wat (temple) to Wai Prah (paying homage to the Buddha statues), and asking for blessing; they hit the Ra kung (bell), and asking for fame and fortune.
They often ate packaged food at the set while filming, but this time, Weir wanted Sandra to fall in love with Thailand. So he took her to a Thai seafood restaurant by the beach, ocean view, which she absolutely loved. She fell in love with Tom Yum Pa Moh Fai (Tom Yum Fish), which she drank the soup to the very last drop. Weir knew that she was afraid of ghost, so he took her to a museum of haunted house, but it turned out that he was the last one of the group, and was sweating due to fear, which Sandra thought was hilarious, they had big laugh. Next on the agenda was the underwater view, which Sandra absolutely loved, she saw star fish, ocean leeches, then afterward, Sandra asked to go walking by the beach, and also playing in the ocean, which she had Weir as her bodyguard. The couple was clearly envious by bystanders, those that were in the water seemed to think that the water was sweeter since the couple arrival, rather than salty.

I don't know about anybody else, but the chemistry between Weir and Sandra jumped out at me and it was difficult for me to imagine it was all an act. So are you saying that they are a couple in real life? I thought he was dating that pancake girl? Any more news will be much appreciated!

So you are saying they are really dating or he just took her on the trip as friends? I thought he was dating that actress name pancake? Weir and Sandra definitely had electrifying chemistry in the lakorn that it was difficult for me to believe that it was all an "act". It’s nice to know you, I’m Lao/Chinese, but like to consider myself Laotian; I left Laos when I was about 5, so didn’t have any education there at all, but I was fortunate enough to attend school in Thailand, and almost completed the 4th grade. I worked real hard all these years trying to retain my being able to read Thai, and I can read Lao some, never knew that I’d be using the language like I am now. I’ll definitely keep you posted.
