Khao Phoon Nam Khati for lunch
I wish I can be back in Laos and have Khao Phoon Nam Khati for lunch, instead of peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
There is one famous food vendor at Tat Lat Sao or Morning Market that sells the best khao phoon in Vientiane. She became rich and is no longer working but her daughter is still carrying on the torch, using her mother’s recipe.
The next time you are in Vientiane, be sure to try out a bowl of khao phoon for lunch or dinner.
Wow, that looks yummy! I haven't had a bowl of this in a while. But I love curry, gang gati or galee, made with eggplants, peas, and some tofu too.
