yumi yumi in my tummi, one my fav. but I rather eat koy kai mot deng..hahaha, first thing i'll eat if i ever visit Laos .what month do the kai mot be ready been so long and all, any one remember?
Sabaidee Lao Bloolines,
I ate koy kai mot deng the first time in my life. I didn't know such dish existed before.
I was in Laos in January and February of this year. I was told the kai mot are in season in the middle or toward the end of January. This year the supply was very limited and people have to go into the deep forests in Champasak to get the kai mot. The harvesters don't even go into town like they used to. As soon as they find the kai mot, they go straight to Lao/Thai border market to sell the eggs.
Here is your koy kai mot deng.
