That is a lot of animal poop. I think some of those people didn’t like the smell of it.
The villagers have a mix accent.
Biogas is excellent since wood burning is a health hazard and destructive. An example of a severe deforestation is Haiti .
I know more sources of biogas. They all post here..
I thought of the same thing, it’s causing lots of global warming.
If anyone missed this post, great one by the way, explains everything about biogas. One of my favorites. http://laovoices.com/2007/10/03/cow-farts-global-warmers-or-a-load-of-hot-air/
Ginger, so you’re saying that methane, the principal component of natural gas, or the so-called ‘greenhouse gases’ methane collects in the sky and traps warm air around our planet? If this is so, then burning the gas might not pose a problem, I assume.

I like the way they are doing it, using the natural resources such as waste and in this case animal manures and turn them into something useful as one of the ladies mentioned that it took her less time to cook where as it would take a lot longer if she were to cook by coal. The only problem that I foresee now is that this would put a lot of stress on the animals for they have to work harder, and have to poop more.
i think it is good for saving energy that we are facing with shortage of energy
