Modern Pakse
When you think of Pakse city, you would never thought of it as a location for a 5 star hotel. I thought my relatives were kidding me when they told me about a future 5 star hotel that is being built by an ex-aunt-in-law’s family (Chinese by the way). When I was in Pakse and took a tour of the bridge there was not much development, except for the clearance of the area. A few months later, we have these photos to share with the world. Pakse is not a farmer’s town anymore.

On the opposite side of the Mekong River is this big building next to the Tang Chareon Home Appliance store and in the distance is the charming Champasak Palace Hotel, which is getting more competition these days with more modern hotels going up like mushrooms.

What a beautiful sight to see. These builders know how to get things done and on time. I like the practical bridge designs.
