Khao Thom for Boun Ok Phansa
For Boun Ok Phansa or the end of the Buddhist Lent, my two aunts in Pakse made their favorite khao thom for the Morning Alms Giving at their local temple. They made khao thom tua dam again because it is easy and a nice treat for kids and adults.

Adding sticky rice, previously soak and ready to be partly cook with the black beans and stir and stir.

Wrapping khao thom, first goes the rice with the black beans, then adds a piece of banana, then wrap it up nicely.
