   Why Thai music on Laos vedio? There are plenty of beautiful Lao song that you could use. Please explain.

   Hi, the first song might be a Thai song, but the one after that it’s a local style of Luang Prabang lum called Kup Toom Luang Prabang, very Lao indeed, might have to fly to Xieng Khoung to see and hear the real thing, might sound more Lao then.

   Where was this video taken? I see a lot of farangs! Nonetheless, it is very beautiful. I have never experienced this tradition, but I heard about it since Thailand just had theirs last weekend and my cousin attended it.

   From the youtube video owner, I gathered he/she is located in Argentina. This could be the Laotians that went there as refugees.
