Padek, I hope the article helps; it appears that the Lao has one history and the Thai has another that they can’t seem to agree on. The Lao think that it’s ridiculous for the Lao Army to be tricked by Thai women before being ambushed. There is a Thai historical epic film that was released in February of 2007, this time focusing on the Siamese ruler, Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaja, known as King Naresuan who acclaimed as the liberator of Siam from Burmese domination in the 16th century. It’s called The Legend of King Naresuan. I would assume that the Burmese are not too happy with this one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Naresuan_%28film%29
