Republicans are known for their strict financial and fiscal discipline. At least, that has been the image they have carefully built themselves. Contrary, Republicans have brought the US to a soon-to-be recession through overspending and by borrowing an immense amount of money from China and the Middle East. The US has become the biggest debt nation of the world.

And for this, the question of accountability arises. Who is responsible for all this debt from a partisan point of view, possibly ending the leading role of the US in the world through mismanagement? Republicans have a propensity to point at Democrats when it comes to spending government dollars. Apparently, the truth is far from that.
