BBQ Hoy





Hoy collected from a stream in Pakse have been cooked in boiling water and then pulled out from the shells and seasoned with various herbs and spices. They are then put on bamboo sticks and then grilled and eaten with spicy dipping sauce. I was told this dish is a favorite for the men to have with their Beer Lao. Kin Ping Hoy Gam Beer is the phrase.

I have never seen this before and am very intrigued.

I haver never heard or seen this before until now. It’s Tai Pakse that know how to find good food to eat. They live to eat as I would say about some of my relatives.
