- Darly : For few people that can afford a machine like my uncle in Ban Dannavieng who bought a second hand one it is still expensive like $10,000 in cash.
- Darly : Ginger: The majority of the people still harvest rice the old fashion way, like mother and daughters of the rice field I posted about.
- Ginger : Darly: would be nice to see the old fashion way of harvesting, but even in Laos or Thailand, many are using tractors now to harvest. I know Thailand do, but not so sure about Laos.

I’ve been asked to join a water buffalo forum; do you want to come with me?
Don’t you have to own a buffalo or two to join the forum? I wouldn’t know what to say about them, except that I’ve seen their big poop most of the time.
I wrote a post on ‘Laos Water Buffalo’ at my blog, and this is what he said “Check out my educational Water Buffalo discussion group that currently has nearly 400 members from around the world. You do not need to own any Water Buffaloes to join the group.” So that answers your question, I guess big poop is a start.
Thanks Ginger for the info. Not sure if I have time for a forum right now but sounds like a bunch of happy people sharing about something that is meaningful than hanging out at a celebrity website or something.
