Food Stalls at Had Chanh

There are plenty of food stalls to be found between Wat Chanh and Don Chanh palace. In the evening this is where many local residents will hang out for good food and music late into the night. For those that don’t feel like cooking or can’t cook, you can never go hungry.

Right after work, many people would head into the area for some BBQ chicken with green papaya salad or cucumber salad and warm sticky rice. There would always be plenty of Beer Lao to wash down the hearty meal. I wouldn’t mind living in Vientiane and hanging out with my buddies at least once a week in this area. Anyone want to join me?
