In the Arab World, the beauty pageant is one of the most conservative without a bikini in sight; this is Miss Arab World Beauty Pageant 2007. Women from across the Arab world came together to compete in Cairo, Miss Bahrain, Wafa Yaqoop (below) is crowned the winner.

Of course, showing sexy legs is a no no here, there is another type of beauty contest that it is okay to show sexy legs, a Camel Beauty Contest, definitely lots of beautiful legs in photo below. My co-workers recently visited Karachi and they were amazed of the Camel Beauty Contest, they are beautiful indeed, seeing is believing.

I believed they are as beautiful as our Lao water buffalos, maybe we should considering having a beauty contest for our rare beauty, they just have to be careful when they smile, no teeth above.

I’d say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I’m certainly not a beauty contestant material and certainly don’t want to scare the audience and the judges. I don’t know what my oldest sister was thinking when she emailed me this picture, she must have thought this lady looks like me, minus 30 years please.
