Ethnic villages at Pa Suam
Pa Suam waterfall is located in the coffee capital of Laos (Bolaven plateau) and home to many ethic tribes. This beautiful waterfall is a perfect place for a picnic. You can stroll around and check out the various ethnic villages and can stay overnight at one of the tree house type bungalows or opt for a homestay at an ethic village, the choice is yours. While you are there make sure to check out the textiles and buy yourself some unique sinh patterns.

I love the hut, very charming and peaceful. The last photo made me think that it would be a great location for resort. Do you you what they’re building there?
I wonder how peaceful it is at night. I didn’t walk toward the hut area when I was there, I went to the right while my parents and relatives went to the left side where the tree houses are located at. The last photo is the new bungalows for tourists I believe. I was told that a Thai company turned Tad Pa Suam into a tourist attraction and did many improvements with the area. They have flush toilets on the ground! While I was there there few a few buses from Thailand full with Thai tourists of course.
Hey Darly,do you happen to know what hill tirbe group they are from?Im curious becuz Im also a Lao highlander.
