Boun Pha Vet at Ban Phonsikhay 2

This year, the Pha Vet festival is bigger and better with a larger parade and more people participating. Since I sent a camera to my cousin Mo last year, he has been taking photos around the temple a few times. His photo taking activities didn’t go un-notice under the eyes of the senior Monks.

On the day of Boun Pha Vet at Ban Phonsikhay, Mo was summoned by the Head Monk to go take pictures just 20 minutes before the parade was about to start. My Grand-Mama said Mo was not planning to attend the festival at all. But when the Head Monk sent someone to the house and literally told Mo to come take photos for the Wat, he could not refuse the request.
