I also posted this at my blog for Nye Noona readers. There are many singers that I realized that I wouldn’t be able to post all, and they did an outstanding performance. I think this is Sommainoy Doungchaleun (please correct me if I’m wrong)

The two beautiful and talented sisters.

Thai singers, the Snap band, playing string music, a break from morlam and country music.

Then it started to rain, the concert had to be shut down temporary for almost 20 minutes, but my second sister saw Sodsai Romphothong talking to a monk next to the stage, he is one of Thailand’s legend country music singers, I recalled hearing him sing at Boun Wat whilst living in Thailand when I was little, so we stuck around and it was well worth it. As you can see, there were many fans out there that also waited, soaking wet, and the rest of the concert more than made up for it, as you can see that the rain didn’t dampen the fans’ spirit at all.

Sodsai Romphothong made an announcement on stage that he didn’t charge for his performance, and this is strictly a Boun event because when he heard about our nice community, that many people have kind heart, and Wat Lao Buddhavong has a big event every year, he wants to Tum Boun (merit making) with the Wat (temple), I would say that he is the highlight of the show.

Pridsana Vongsili also came with him from Thailand, she is still as beautiful as ever, I’ve seen her 11 years ago at this very stage, and it was my first time attending Wat Lao Buddhavong Boun.

Ning Nong still has a nice voice, still very funny.
