Organic Farmers market in Vientiane part 2
Aunt Kian went to the Orangic Farmers Weekend Market on July 5, 2008 and came back with a positive report. She bought many fruits and vegetables and also some rice.
Aunt Kian said you can get more for your money at the organic farmers market than at a typical market in Vientiane. For example, a bunch of phak bong or Lao water spinach is twice the size of the one sold at a market near her house and the price is a lot lower.
If I was living in Vientiane, this Weekend Market would be the place that I would buy my fruits and vegetables weekly.
