I just saw a vd of Vientiane Garden Restaurant a recipe was called stir fry shrimp curry. The owner said is Laotion food ,but why in Lao language he said Pad koong I know a ward (pad)is not Lao word and yet I oftenly heard Laotions used this word alot for stirfry in Lao language. It looks like either Laotions doesn’t known their own language very well or there isn’t a word for stirfry in Lao language.
Pad or Koua is Lao language.
