Dannavieng Elementary School clips

Here are a few video clips that I made on October 17, 2008 of the students at Dannavieng Elementary. The newly built but incomplete school has been in full session for the second year. Thanks to the generosity of Friends of the NLL, Lao Cook, and Nye Noona, these students were able to make use of the new building earlier than anticipated.

Despite having dirt floor, no doors and no windows, the students are happy to be studying inside and realized they are better off than many schools in the area and are in a much better position than they once were. Many thanks to the donors for their support of Dannavieng School Building Project. You are all invited for the grand opening ceremony whenever it can be held. We will keep you posted of any updated news on Dannavieng Elementary School.
