Song about Tat Pho Waterfall
Tat Pho Waterfall is always beautiful no matter when you visit
Abundant water flows making visitors happy
They are happy to see natural beauty the most
Beautiful Tat Pho waterfall
Calls to young girls and boys
Come fish at Tat Pho waterfall
When March and April come
A lot of fish will arrive
People will be happy
The fish at Tat Pho waterfall are many!
Pa Tep, Pa Soy, Pa Wa, Pa Pra, Pa Phon, Pa Ko, Pa Kunag, Pa Yon
Beautiful beyond words
As the sunset in the evening
And darkness falls people go back home
In this beautiful place on the two banks of Tat Pho
One is drawn to the waterfall so spectacular
Once you visit you can not help but stay
From the video: Rivers, mountains and forests thanks to these natural resources this planet can host many forms of life. Lao people depend on natural resources for their livelihood, their relationship with nature is very close. Their livelihood is inseparable from nature. For centuries throughout Laos, people have depended on rich biodiversity.
Pa Daek is an essential food for Lao people. Every meal includes some. Pa Daek can be mixed in to add flavor to any Lao food. Pa Daek itself is the main food of Laos. Pa Daek is a non perishable food. Once it is prepared, it can be keep for a year or more even without refrigerating. Pa Daek can be kept in an airtight jar. With Pa Daek, people are happy, they rest assured that they have a long term supply of food for their family.
Pa Daek is made from fish that people catch from natural bodies of water. They maybe rivers, lakes, ponds, wells, or wetlands, depending on the season. People catch fish for Pa Daek at the start of the rainy season. At this time, water levels in the rivers are higher, and fish begin migrating to spawning areas. When water levels begin to lower, fish again come downstream for dry season. Lao people know they can catch the most fish in the rainy season.

sabaidee Darly, looking at the padek, make me want to transform into a worm for a day. Aren’t Laotians creative? yum yum..
Sabaidee Ai Amphone,
Like the Lao saying, even if you have nothing you can always gin khao with jeow padek and maak khua.
Yes, Laotians are very creative, we just need to give ourselves more credit.
sabaidee nong, I like the old sayings, they have been handed down for a reason. But I like my sticky rice with salt roasted over a fire. I scrambled some eggs and marinated on the outside. It’s delicious in the winter morning…Yep, we are creative. But I have to say this. Kon Lao don’t give each other enough credit. We can turn anything under the sun into a decent meal. Padek, for example, was a great idea. I haven’t had real padek for a long time.
