It is tradition that after Tak Bat the festival goers would pou sart (lay down the mat) and khin khao (eat) and visit with one another. The hunt for the best food whether khao phoon or tom yum kai is a joy in itself as much and the fun of sharing is even better. For many of us we would hit both sides of the food booths, trying to find the most delicious khao phoon and other dishes because one bowl is not enough and when you can’t eat anymore, you can always take home some food to share with those that couldn’t be there or for eat later.
