Tigo awards USD 6,000 as scholarships for Lao students0 comments

(KPL – 18.11.09.06) The Millicom Lao Company (Tigo) held an examination on Tuesday in Vientiane to decide the winners of Tigo Talent Scholarships, which are worth USD 6,000.

The first ever Tigo scholarships are aimed to select the five best students from across the country.

Attending the function also included Director of Millicom Laos, Michael Cluzel, Director of the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, Mr. Li Foung, and Head of National University of Laos’ Office, Mr. Khane Xayakath.

“The scholarships will help the scholars to complete their education at universities,” said Mr. Michael Cluzel.
