Closing ceremony of 25th SEA Games ready to give impressive

(KPL) The Ministry of Information and Culture held a meeting to prepare for closing ceremony of the 25th SEA Games in Vientiane Capital on 18 December.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Information and Culture, on 16 December under the chairmanship of Minister of Information and Culture Mounkeo Oraboun.

Mr Mounkeo was informed on the preparation from relevant sectors and the Chairman of SEA Games Publication Sub-Committee, Dr. Borsengkham Vongdala.

Dr Brosengkham said, “The 25th SEA Games Publication Sub-Committee had five sectors including the SEA Games Publication Sub-Committee, domestic media centre, foreign media centre, broadcasting centre and bulletins in Lao and English languages which published 1,000 copies of Lao bulletins and 3,000 copies of English bulletins daily”.

Mr. Bouangeun Saphouvong, Chairman of Committee for Opening and Closing Ceremonies of 25th SEA Games said that now performers of all parades were ready to display at the closing ceremony of 25th SEA Games, would be held at the main stadium, today.

The display programme consists of Mang Kheuakhaokad, Lao New Year, Boat Racing, Rocket Festivals and Chai Pa San Chai.

After all committees reporting their works, minister Mounkeo has expressed thanks to all committees concerned for contributing to the success of SEA Games.

He also called on all committees to pay attention to performances that would be displayed at the closing ceremony and report accurate and fast information for the public.
