Speaking at the closing ceremony, Office Head and NA Standing Committee member, Mr Thongteun Xayasane highlighted achievements and efforts made by NA Administrative Office in the past few years.
He mentioned that over the past year, parliamentarians of the administrative offices at various levels conducted 12 seminars to disseminate laws to more than 2,000 officials and local people. Some 12 laws, including seven amendments, were approved by the National Assembly over the past year.
The office actively educated officials and parliamentarians on the Party’s political ideology through various means, including lectures. This enabled state officials to absorb the Party’s guidelines, and state laws and regulations more effectively.
Over the past year the office has improved the administrative structure of its line agencies at the provincial level and filled staffing positions in those organisations, as well as improving working methods.
The meeting was attended by NA members from all 17 constituencies across the country and relevant officials, totalling 140 delegates.
