Wattay was going through a renovation when I was in Vientiane last year. Now the major work is over and the local residents are very happy with their beautiful temple. On February 21, 2008, the faithfuls gathered to make merit on this special day.

Wat Chanh is located by the Mekong River in Vientiane, not too far from Don Chanh Palace Hotel. Wat Chanh is the place to be during the annual boat racing festival in October.
