- Ginger : As for me, I think I live my life for others, not exactly a good way of living but it’s a part of life.

- Darly : Nina: Yeah, I need to go buy maak houng so I can have some tum. Maybe next weekend I'll have a BBQ party with tum maak houng. You are all invited.

- Darly : Sometimes it's better to listen to yourself than others because family and friends can distract you. I'm reading a really good book at the moment and you might want to check it out.
- Darly : Ginger: Yes, you can be anywhere and still help Laos but to work there is a bonus being with the local folks and seeing the improvements and the daily interactions. It's icing on the cake. Some people just want it all, that's why they relocate to Laos and other countries to work there.
- Darly : Good morning all. Happy weekend. Enjoy the nice weather while you can. Anyone working on the garden?
- Nina : ooh! that thum pa hoong looks very good! haha My mouth waters just thinking about it! haha
- Nye Ginger : I don’t understand why they can’t see that people are capable of doing multi tasks now a day.
- Nye Ginger : I think no matter where you live, you can contribute to the country (Laos) progress, it’s a matter of wanting to or not, the only problem that I see living in the state and close to your family is the lack of support and negativity of what you’re doing because some feel that it’s a waste of time, I’ve to hear this also.
- Darly : If not there is always Laos to go back to and try. I would be happy living and working there I think, probably more than in the US knowing I can contribute to the country's progress.
- Darly : Will give it a try, born in Laos and lived in the US, so why not try here as well. Life is full of possibilities.
- Darly : In the end you weight the pro and con and figure out what is best for you. I kinda like the lifestyle here with not so much cut throat working environment.
- Darly : Coffee is cheap here, same goes for tea. Then again with the price of dollars falling, things might be more expensive for people coming from the US.
