A couple of short clips of the filming of Sabaidee Luang Prabang, the movie. It was a sold out crowd at both Lao ITECC and Lao Cultural Hall just over a week ago.

I’ve not seen a lot on the news, but read here that Sabaidee Luang Prabang had premiered on 5/22/2008 in Vientiane and the movie will be showing in Thailand on June 5.

Premier of Sabaidee Luang Prabang postponed
Lao and Thai co-producers of a movie entitled Sabaidee Luang Prabang, or ‘Hello Luang Prabang’, have delayed its premier in Vientiane.
The production team was set to premier the film before Pi Mai Lao (Lao New Year) this year, but has now delayed screening until the end of this month.

The first Lao movie, produced by Lao Art Media and a Thai Spartar Creative, starring Ananda Everingham and Khamly Philavong. This is a must see movie for all khonlao out there.
