What is being used to pull the old fashion wagon in Laos these days. This is what I saw at Sikhay Market in Vientiane after my visit to Wat Keopa Xayaram.

I went to Wat Keopa yesterday morning to check out the two sala trees that we have known about from aunt Kian. Here are the first set of photos for you to see. The left tree didn’t have much leaves unlike the second one.

Many of thon huang pheung trees were in full bloom last month on the streets of Vientiane.
On April 10, 2008, the employees at Mahosot Hospital attended an award ceremony to celebrate 30 years of progress. After business was over, they joined in the celebration of the Lao New Year with food, music, dancing and throwing water at one another.
