Wattay was going through a renovation when I was in Vientiane last year. Now the major work is over and the local residents are very happy with their beautiful temple. On February 21, 2008, the faithfuls gathered to make merit on this special day.

What you can buy at the souvenir shops inside Patuxay. As you can see there are Lao handicrafts, clothes, jewelry, Buddha statues, and much more.
