Team We Run in cooperation with the Lao Red Cross aims for US$50,000 Nepal aid
Introduction: Team We Run in cooperation with the Lao Red Cross will organise a charitable Run-Walk to raise funds for those affected by the deadly earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25.
Story: The activity is set for Vientiane on May 31. The Run-Walk will start at 6 am from Pakpasack Technical College running to Lao – German Technical School.
Speaking at the event press conference, Representative of Team We Run, Manida Sithimorada said the event was targeting US$50,000 (about 400 million kip) in donations to assist quake victims in Nepal. So far Team We Run members had received over 143 million kip from family, friends, individuals and businesses.
Participants can register for the event at Happy Sport Shop (That Khao Village, next to Khouvieng Frame Shop) up to 30 May from 10am to 7:30pm every day.
Other places for registration are: That Luang Park, Mekong riverbank (flagpoles area) and Chao Anouvong Park from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
