Chinese Military Attache to the Lao PDR held a reception to mark the 86th founding anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army of China.

According to the Military Attache Cui Jianly, since it’s inception, the People’s Liberation Army has been the symbol of the Communist strength in their fight for liberation by defending national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the people of China.

In his welcoming remark at the reception where attended by Deputy Minister of National Defense Maj. Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath (ຈັນສະໝອນ ຈັນຍາລາດ), Chinese Ambassador to Laos, Guan Huabing, and high-ranking Lao and Chinese Military and civilian officials.

The Chinese military attaché to Laos, Colonel Cui (Sui) Jianly stated that, over the past 86 years, under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese people have fought bravely for the national independence and liberation. They made great contribution to the peace and development of China.

According to him, The People’s Liberation Army of China, growing up from small to powerful, has become today a modernized and combined armed force, safeguarding national sovereignty and territory integrity of China He also express his deep appreciation to the Lao government, and military in supporting the Chinese Liberation Army in maintaining peace and security in the region and the world.

It is also recorded that, the aim of the military relations is to enhance exchanges and cooperation with armed forces of the Lao People’s Army and the Chinese Liberation Army, on the basis of mutual respect, equality and common goals.
