Introduction: Four leading private companies have donated over 260 million kip via the Lao National Assembly to support the 35th General Assembly of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, which will be held on 14-20 September.

Story: A donation ceremony took place at the National Assembly Office on 11 September between representatives of the four companies and the Vice-President of the National Assembly, Dr Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
The four companies are the Lao Brewery Company donating 112 million kip, Lao Telecom 63 million, ETL Public Company 52 million and the Soukpasert Construction Company 39 million kip.
The 35th Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly calls AIPA in Vientiane next month aims to promote enhanced cooperation among parliaments for realising the Asean Community.
