(KPL) An annual Laos-Thailand Trade Fair will be held since today to July 7th at Lao-ITECC in Vientiane Capital, aiming to promote bilateral trade relations between small and medium enterprises of two countries.
This year trade fair will conduct under the theme of “Laos-Thailand Sourcing and Business Matching 2013”.

More than 300 booths are expected to display its varieties of products at the event including automobile parts, construction materials, tools, machine items, electronic appliances, stationary items, educational equipment, clothes, furniture, food and health products, and other industrial item.
The fair is an opportunity for business operators in two countries to negotiate trade cooperation in the future.
It is also an activity to promote continuously the cooperation on economy and trade between public and private of two countries and also the information exchange on trade, investment, transport, negotiation between manufacturers, entrepreneurs and consumers.
Last annual trade fair drew 241 companies in Laos and Thailand, which had 300 booths, 50 of which were Lao booths.
According to the latest plan issued by the two ministries of Laos and Thailand, they have set the bilateral trade value at US$5.77 billion by 2015. Thus, this fair is an effort to spur the bilateral trade value of the two countries to reach the common target.
