Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Nyan Tun begins an official goodwill visit to Laos from March 30-April 1
Introduction: Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Nyan Tun and his delegation arrived Laos begining his goodwill official visit to Laos from March 30-April 1 to strengthen ties between the two neighbours.
Story: In response to the invitation by vice president of the Lao PDR, Bounnhang Vorachit, Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Nyan Tun and his delegation arrived Laos on Monday the 30th of March begining his goodwill official visit to Laos from March 30-April 1 to strengthen ties between the two neighbours.
The official welcome ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace where the Myanmar top leader welcomed by Vice President of the Lao PDR Bounnhang Vorachit.
The visit is to deepen the traditional friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, which was attended by senior officials from the two countries’, the two leaders briefed each other on the latest developments in their respective countries and shared views on regional and international events of mutual interest. The top leaders of Laos and Myarnmar have agreed to continue to guide various sectors in the two countries in maintaining effective cooperation towards more fruitful friendship, solidarity and further cooperation.
Laos and Myanmar will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic ties this year.
