New Minister and Head of the Government’s Office appoints to government office
Introduction: New Minister and Head of the Government’s Office Dr Sonexay Siphandone, who used to be the governor of Champassak province appoints to government office.

Story: Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong was witness to a ceremony to announce and appoint a new Minister and Head of the Government’s Office and also the new Vientiane Mayor.
The announcement and handover ceremony was made following the approval at the 7th ongoing ordinary session of the National Assembly’s 7th legislature that is being held in Vientiane.
Dr Sonexay Siphandone, replaced Dr Sinlavong Khoutphaythoun who was announced as the new Vientiane Mayor.
Prime Minister Thongsing said that Dr SinlavongKhoutphaythoun, who has the new position of Vientiane Mayor should continue in the direction of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and the government of Laos and oversee the transformation of the capital to a more modern city.
He also said that Dr Sonexay Siphandone, who was assigned to be a new Minister and Head of the Government’s Office will continue the work of Dr Sinlavong, who leaves a great legacy after the government’s office accomplished its targets and benefitted not only the government but the people as well.
